Adoption Funds have been Started

well...we are 99.9% sure we are going with Russia & hopefully 2 kids in one shot to save on fees/travel/etc.
I've been doing lots of research for fundraising/saving money for adoption and stumbled across one where a couple sent out cheap baby bottles to all their friends & familys with a "message in a bottle" saying they were adopting and if the person they sent the bottle to wanted to help, they would love their spare change to help pay all the fees to bring their child home.
i haven't reached the point where everyone even knows we are planning to adopt yet..much less asking for money...but I did get some of the cheap bottles and have them scattered around ...i'm gonna make a russian sticker that will fit on my cc's and stick one to each one as a reminder to not spend money i don't HAVE to spend. We have cut back on Sonic drinks (which for those that know us know us....that's a big thing...since we get 1/each every single day if not more)...and i'm stashing $1.07 for each drink we don't get in the bottle. I cashed my commission check and stuffed it in there...if we do go to the store...i am rounding up to the whole $10 and taking the change to stuff in the bottle...now i need to empty the bottles and put the money in the bank so that it can be earning interest.

tom. i'm gonna try again to find a storage unit to rent for a couple months so that I can take anythign i want to keep (daycare stuff i like, cmas & other holiday deco, etc) to the storage building to get it out of the way so that we can slap paint/light fixtures/flooring/etc in the backroom & 2 front rooms.....have to hurry up and get it done so we can get started on the wonderfully exciting homestudy

oh...and i told mom & gma that if anyone asks them (and they usually do) what they could get me/jerry for any gift giving things....that as much as we would like a gift...we would prefer money right now to help with the adoption fund...if they don't want to do that then a gift card to home depot to help with the cost of remodels/fixing up or nothing as we don't need anything else in the house since we both come from pack-rat families and have so much crap right now as it is...
the average cost of Russian adoption is (from what we've found so far):
1 kid about $25-30,000.00 & 2 makes it shoot up to around $40-50k or so

so...yes...it's a lot....but i feel this is where God is sending us and I'll do what i have to to get the funds to bring our kid(s) home....if you help...we give you our biggest thanks possible....if you can't/don't want to help...that's ok to.

I've decided all profits from my home business are going straight into the AFund.

ok...think i'll stop rambling and go work on cleaning the house...gotta find/gather everything i can sell on ebay and get it sorted .....
