My 2nd Job

Forgot to mention...I applied for a temp. job at the church (head nursery worker). The lady that is the normal one is taking off the rest of the year to bond & spend time with her new baby and family. It's only 3 hours every sunday (8:30-11:30) during church/sunday school...but every dime helps. The entire paycheck will be going to the adoption fund. (-10% for tithe)
Will let y'all know how it goes...should be interesting going back to church. At least I have the knowledge that we will be adopting so I won't get so upset when peps ask when we are gonna have a kid.
Found a cool site that has the Russian "abc's" along with how to pronounce them....also found another one that has common phrases, numbers, etc and when you click on the word/sentence, it plays it in media player so you can hear how to say it. Gonna start practicing that o I'm not trying to learn at the last minute...well Jerry is out at the ranch helping dad with something so i'm gonna get off here and watch my soaps real quick so i can get back to "cleaning"
Hugs

Our "sign"

I was driving home from work on 8/21/06 and saw our "sign" that we were supposed to adopt from Russia.

This was taken on Hwy 36 by the prison farm (while driving home). I had just told Mom, Char & Ash that we were planning to adopt and that we were pretty sure we were going to do Russia.....then I saw the "sign".
Here's the pic with the "sign" circled in case you don't see it.

I say this is our "sign" cause I had been looking at charms for the charm bracelets I've started for my nieces 18th b-day/graduation gifts (haven't decided which yet) and I had seen a "Russian Boot" charm (you know the boots that the top folds down or has fur around the top....yeah that one).
well...Don't have much news on the adoption as of yet....we are still are gathering info on different agencies but are still leaning to AAI in San Antonio. We are slowly...very slowly gathering the funds needed for adoption...I miss shopping but it's worth havin' to not shop so I can have a child(ren) of my own.
Ash helped me clean my fish tank out Friday so I could "adopt" 7 Dalmation Mollies. They proceeded to eat the tails/fins of my 2 remaining Tetras (I had 2 tetras in a 26 gallon tank....lol). The tetras then proceeded to get "ick" so I had to go get a small fish tank (little 3 gallon one) to put them in so the Mollies wouldn't hurt them. I gave both tanks the treatment for "ick" and have since lost one of the tetras but the other one is looking a little perky-er than it was....so i have 1 tetra in a 3 gallon tank...)
well...i'm gonna stop the ramblin' and close this post....talk to y'all again soon!!! (and thanks' for reading) I don't have the font to do "russian abc's" but here's the "Trunsliteration:
Do Svyazee (translation = until next connection {used in tv/radio communications})
