12/30/07....make that 12/31/07

Happy New Year!!!! wow...I don't know what happened to the time....I didn't realize it had been so long since my last post....

My goals for this year:
*Post here more often
*Get my house "de-cluttered"
*FINISH ALL the remodeling projects Jerry has started (was thinking the other day and realized he has SOMETHING started in EVERY SINGLE room in this house....ugh)
*Do 208 scrapbook pages in 2008
*Have 2+ photo sessions per month
*Get the adoption process underway (hold up is the house remodeling)
*Get a scrapbook area set up that I can leave out to work on.....and get caught up with at least 1 years worth of photos
*Actually get to the point of priniting pics from 2006-2007
*Sort all my computer files and backup all my pics to cd

speaking of scrapbooking....
So I had my "Last Crop of the Year" tonite...Mom & Nicole (bff) came and we scrapbooked from 3pm till 1 in the am......and
I completed my goal of 207 pages in 2007....Nicole & I both finished 207 pages this year....yeah us....
Every page we do after last nites workshop counts towards 2008 and I already have about 10 since she left....

06/04/2007....Tickers...hehe (and a little update)

well life has been crazy. let's see....on April 6, kiki (our cat) passed away. The next friday our air conditioner passed away....then jerry was sick....then i was sick (allergies for both of us since the house was open since we had no ac). Finally got a new ac on May 5...YEAH....

We had a surprise bday party for Mom's 50th. Even had Eric come home to surprise her (he sat across the room from her for a good 5 min. before she even noticed him and that was only cause people were making comments...."guess she doesn't love you anymore" and the like....trying to get her to look up.

I'm still planning to start a photo studio...just everything with the house has put it back a little...(working on my webpage right now though www.v7photos.com)

haven't got to really scrapbook much this year....so i decided to make a ticker to try to keep track of my pages....

also made a ticker for the adoption fundraiser funds....we are getting there slowly but surely...

oh and I think I got ticker happy...lol...see tickerfactory has these new tickers you can edit the info and track things like: scrapbook pages, fundraisers, weight loss, etc....

soooooo my 3rd ticker is my weight loss ticker....hmmm wonder how long this will take to finish...lol

Gonna try to start walking 45 minutes a day like the doctor suggested....gonna get there....i really will...i hope....

ok....i think i'm done fore now...lol....that was fun

for real now....what else has happened......oh yeah...I got to walk across this cool scanner thing at the chiropractors office....it scans your foot to get orthopedic inserts (my left arch is starting to fall a little causing pain)...it was sooo cool...it showed on the computer screen how little/much of my foot touches/presses down when i walk...only sucky part is hey are over $200 a pair and i have to get 2 pair (church & everyday)....but if i feel better...who cares

hmmmm what else...oh yeah...jerry is trying to get another job working out of state making way more than he already does so we can raise our adoption funds even quicker....so praying that he does (esp. since then i can hire someone to finish all his "started" house projects)

oh and i'm having a garage sale/fundraiser this wkend (the city of west columbia is doing a city wide garage sale & i decided to join in)....i'll be doing a couple more before the year is over but this should get rid of some of my stuff

well it's getting late and i need to shower & head to bed.....i'll try to get back here sooner next time....Love y'all and thanks for reading!!!

3/18/07 (I'm just gonna start using the date so I don't have to think of something smart to put here...lol)

Well, we hired my uncle to help Jerry get the flooring installed faster so I can get moved into my new studio....I'm sooo excited...can't wait for it to finally be done. They layed the underlayment down on Saturday & installed the floor Sunday.
All that's left is:
put the trim around the floor & ceiling
put the casing/trim around the doors & windows
finish the ceiling tiles (15 total...or something like that)
install the new plugs & covers install/flip/etc the switches
install the phone jack(s)
install the lights & fans
MOVE IN!!!!!

life is crazy right now...still trying to finish up the remodel so we can file the adoption paper work...if all goes as planned we should have a child by this time next year
life is nuts at work...i'm falling behind and going nuts...we bought an office building and are trying to get it fixed up and rent out parts of it...i still haven't finished up the last of the year end crap and here it is fixing to be march (in a few minutes)...

i got the job as nursery director back at church...i'm soo glad the former lady "retired" and they offered it back to me...I truly LOVE doing nursery plus it makes it where i can attend church but not be asked by every other person "so when are you having a kid...your little sis has one...it's your turn" but when i'm in the nursery for some reason they dont' ask it as much....so that's great...i missed church while i was away...watching it on tv just isnt' the same

oh and as if life isn't crazy and jam packed enough...i've decided to start a photo business....taking pics specializing in kids/babies...i've had soo many people ask who took some pics i had taken and tell me i should do it...so i'm gonna give it a go...we'll see what happens...if nothing else i'll have lots of cool backgrounds and props for my kiddo(s) & nieces/nephews.....

ADOPTION NEWS
ok...the remodel is taking longer than planned and as it's fixing to be March 1st...we have decided to push the adoption back to April 1st....so our new ticker is:



well as you can see it's getting late and i need to get to bed...lots to do tom....thank goodness it's my friday...wohoo....1 more day of work this wk...
in case i don't make it back before St. Patty's day....

ugh

i just spent over an hour typing up a long post and it vanished....ugh
well...i'm too tired to retype it tonite
long story short...
adoption = still on track for march 1st (OMG less than a month away)
house = just about done with remodel (thank god...i want my living room back)
work = crazy as usual
jerry = good
me = going to a chiropractor for my elbow, lower spine, neck, knee...most of the time it feels better....he's doing rehab on it as well as laser therapy and it really helps a bunch

ok...my eyes are drooping....going to bed gotta get up in the am to go to rehab and then come home and work and do the stuff my lovely assistant led me to belive she had already done...(another long story)
